Resolve issues with deleting photos
Due to various OS restrictions on storage access, you may need to grant extra permission to A+ Gallery to allow deleting photos. The steps will be slightly different depending on the Android OS version of your phone.
Android 11 and above
Once promoted to grant permissions, follow the instructions in the dialog that pops up to find the folder that A+ Gallery needs access to, and click 'Use this folder'. After that, you'll be able to delete any photos in the folder.
Note: usually, we try to show you a top level folder, so that you don't have to grant permission each time you need to make modifications to your photos. However, sometimes if you are modifying photos from multiple top level folders, you may need to repeat this process multiple times for each folder.

Android 7 - Android 10
Once prompted to grant access to external SD card, click continue, and in the screen that pops up, choose 'Allow access to 'SD Card''. After that you'll be able to delete photos. (Or make any other modifications to the photo).
Note, the text in 'Allow Access to ''' button may not exactly be 'SD Card'.

Android 5 - Android 6
In Android 5 and above, once prompted, make sure you select the external SD card instead of internal storage. If you can only see 'Internal Storage', go to the option menu and choose 'Show SD card'. Afterwards, choose 'Select' to grant A+ Gallery permission.
Android 4.4
In Android 4.4, files on external SD card cannot be modified by 3rd party applications.
